But the most important novelty concerns the technology called "Multi-Taper Technology" which differentiates the E6X from all the other rods on the market. Generally, during construction and before being introduced into the furnace, the composite is wound on the mandrel with overlapping of several layers in certain points according to the project, for example on those portions of the raw material that need greater power. This produces an increase in weight and a "step" in the material which results in a point of concentration of the tensions, in other words a point of possible weakness of the product. With this new technology, G.Loomis introduces the spindles with different tapers (3 specifically) to obtain the desired action without material overlapping thus keeping the carbon and resin layer uniform.
